Countdown to S/M: 1 (Lucy Heartfilia)

To say she was annoyed would be a bit of an understatement for the Celestial Mage. The blonde haired wizard finding herself entering her home more aggravated than the morning of leaving it. Returning early due to her guild mates causing far too much chaos. Along with Natsu and Happy pranking her- resulting in both tied to a pole in the guild via her whip.

"Those two I swear..." Lucy Heartfilia mumbled to herself while fixing her pig tails a bit. As well as adjusting her heart shirt and leggings after they became a bit ruffled during the madness at the guild. Once doing so she shut the front door and hoped no one would barge in for once. The blonde letting out a soft sigh as she entered her bedroom with a calm demeanor. Deciding to instead of get too frustrated with her day perhaps instead use it to fuel her writing.

'Okay so the heroine is about to lose her love. How to proceed... Oh maybe- ...huh?' Lucy's inner writing thoughts were interrupted as she approached her desk only to see something on it. A foreign object she was positive didn't belong there. Blinking a few times as she examined said object with caution.

The item itself appeared to be some kind of device. Said item was seemingly already open displayed two lite up screens. Lucy taking note of the various buttons and such on the item as well as the screens themselves. Curiosity taking the better of her usual cautious nature- eyes turning to the top screen where a few words were displayed.

"Please press the Pokeball below? What's a Pokeball...?" She questioned aloud while looking at the strange item. Her eyes turning once more to the lower screen and seeing what she could only assume was the 'Pokeball' in question. A sphere colored with the top half being red and the bottom white. A single glowing circle dead center in it that caught Lucy's attention.

"...This is totally a prank from those two. Well I'm NOT falling for it this time!" Lucy huffed before turning away from the screens and walking away. Stopping after a few steps before peeking over her shoulder.

"But... I am kinda curious what it is... I swear if this this messes up my house I'm gonna Lucy Kick those two into space..." Lucy mumbled as she approached her desk once more. The Celestial Mage thinking it over one more time before finally pressing her finger against the bottom screen.

Silence filled the room as Lucy waited for the device to do something. Raising her brow when nothing happened after a solid minute of pressing her finger against it. Lifting her hand from it before crossing her arms.

"Huh. Nothing? Weird... Guess I'll just-" Lucy's words were cut off as the strange item suddenly released a large pink energy blast of sorts. Slamming into the blonde and throwing her across the room onto her couch. Once regaining her breath Lucy sat up with a gasp, looking up with her now more ruffled hair and clothes.

"The hell was that?!" She cried out at the sudden tossing of herself across the room. Standing back up annoyed while dusting herself off. Frowning at the item on her desk as she inwardly began to plan out Natsu and Happy's demise for pranking her again.

As she dusted herself off though something odd occurred. Looking down she gazed at her hand only to watch it suddenly begin to change. Witnessing as her fingers began to merge together and shrink a bit- leaving her with only three instead of her slender five. Said hand covering in what appeared to be blonde fur as Lucy's eyes widened.

"WHAT THE VEE SYL VEE IS THIS?!" Lucy cried out as she held her hand high in the air. Taking note of her strange speech but was more focused on her hands at that moment. Where her slender fingers should have been was instead what appeared to be a paw. Lucy watching in shock as the skin near her new paw hand began to cover in fur the same color as her skin. Lucy gasping as it began to climb up her arm as it began to change as well.

"No no no! What VEE of magic is this?!" Lucy began to panic as she felt her other hand start to change as well. Watching as it suddenly matched to form a second paw. Lucy starting to back away in panic only to scream upon losing her balance. Her boots suddenly no longer fitting proper- falling back onto her rear. Letting out a pained yelp before yelling in horror. Looking at her feet only to see they were now the same as her changed hands.

"Stop it! Please what is going on!?!" Lucy cried out in honest fear and confusion of it all. Looking down only to see her chest begin to shrink at a rapid pace. All her curves quick to vanish- torso looking less humanoid and more canine like. Her heart shirt and black shorts slipping off due to her shrinking form and changed shape. Lucy going teary eyed as she had to move around; arm covers and leggings slipping off entirely leaving her mostly bare with a new body.

"I-I look like a SY!? S-SYL!? VEON! VEON!" Lucy cried out as she looked over her new torso, arms and legs. Only to take note her entire loss of speech now rather than just issues. Gasping as suddenly she felt something pop out- turning to see a new tail form above her rear- blonde in color.

As she continued to panic however Lucy felt something begin to form at her neck. Not able to see it but a large bow like addition appeared attached to her neck- the center being blonde while the rest was her original skin tone. Attached to each side appeared to grow strange ribbons of sorts. Lucy realizing quickly she had some control over it.

At the same time she could feel her head begin to change as well. Changing shape entirely while also forming a small muzzle. Her ears shifting to the top of her head before growing large and pointed upwards- looking more like rabbit ears than anything while covered in blonde fur. On her left ear appeared a second bow with ribbons attached to it as well. Lucy feeling the last bit of change occur as her mouth shifted and nose became small and black. Fur covering her entire body now as the morphing finally came to a close.

Upon feeling the strange sensations stop Lucy looked dumbfounded. Looking over herself before rushing- not without tripping a few times due to never walking on all fours before- to her full body mirror to see what was up.

When she stood in front of said mirror she let out a loud scream of shock. For where a curvy Celestial Mage should have stood was instead some kind of strange dog like creature. Her new fur mixed of her normal skin tone and her hair color. The only humanoid features remaining being her hair and eyes. Otherwise she was some kind of foreign creature.

"Sylveon!? S-Sylveon! SYL! VEEE!" Lucy tried to speak but all the came out was the word Sylveon again and again. Panic evident as she continued to try and figure out something to fix her situation. Never noticing the way the thing that caused her change had a new sentence on the top screen.

'Press the Pokeball below once more.' It read. However it remained on that page as Lucy just continued to try and think things over. The screen continuing to blink those words a few times until they seemed to be backspaced suddenly. A new sentence being typed in real time on it.

'Okay this is taking a bit too long. Sorry Lucy but I don't have that much time.' The screen read before the screen began to light up once more. This time releasing a pure white beam that blasted towards Lucy. The blonde noticing it in the mirror far too late to do anything before being blasted by it. Letting out a loud yelp as her body was consumed in a bright light.

In that moment Lucy's entire form began to glow white. Her new body seemingly shrinking even more as it began to reshape itself once more. Rapidly decreasing in size before it finally stopped. Lucy falling onto her rear once more in another brand new form.

"Vee...? Eevee?" Lucy let out as she sat there. No longer saying the word Sylveon but instead Eevee. Her new form looking like an even smaller dog with most of her fur being blonde while she had a large tuff of it around her neck being her former skin color. The beam seemingly regressing Luy in both age and evolution as she sat there with a confused expression.

'W-what was I doing? Where am I?' Lucy questioned as her mind was now far more jumbled. Looking around before noticing the screen on the desk. Her new more childish mindset getting the better of her as she got onto all four and headed over to said desk. Hoping up via a chair before looking at the glowing device that had just both transformed and regressed her. Sniffing it with wonderment.

'Shiny. Wanna play with-' Lucy began to think as she gently pawed the thing she viewed as a new toy. Paw pressing the Pokeball on screen causing it to release a bright red light. Lucy blinking in confusion before vanishing from sight into the screen then the Pokeball. Her clothing poofing from her room to make up the new colorization of the pokeball.

'Eevee captured... Well that didn't go as expected but I'll take it.' Was typed out on the screen as Lucy was now in the Pokeball. The device slipping shut before vanishing from sight. Taking Lucy with it.

The only questions remaining were where did they go... and why...?
